"We are not selling a product, we are selling emotions"

On March 17, the participants of the School of International Entrepreneurship project for students of Moscow universities "Start your business with Moscow" gathered again at the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The fifth lesson of the educational module of the project was devoted to the most important topic – "Sales".

"The key thing I would like to convey to future entrepreneurs is that emotion is important in sales," said the speaker of the event, an independent consultant, an innovative industrial tracker, co-founder of Modern Business Growth Technologies Group, PhD in Economics, Deputy Chairman of the Commission on Innovation and Technological Development of the Council for Financial-Industrial and investment policy of the CCI of the Russian Federation, leading tracker of the I.V. Rybakov Academy Yulia Krasnorutskaya. - That is, we are not selling a product, we are selling emotions. And this is the main advantage and the main success in sales.

The first part of the event was devoted to lecture material, however, the students were not bored – they asked questions, the speaker involved them in a discussion of the main components of success, the students expressed their hypotheses about why sales could grow or, conversely, fall.

The second part of the module was devoted to a practical lesson. The guys, divided into teams, both practiced self-presentation and learned how to prepare a competent pitch to present the idea of the project to the audience. The students showed great involvement in the learning process, because the knowledge and skills they receive on the project will be useful to them in the future, even if they do not become businessmen.
