The finals of the Start a Business with Moscow business school for foreign students of Moscow higher educational establishments will take place at the MCCI Grand Conference Hall on June 3, and the best school students, who passed three stages of competition, will present their business projects to an expert commission.
In 2024, the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry implements the Start a Business with Moscow project, which aims to develop entrepreneurial competences and skills of career modeling in the Russian business community among the target audience.
The project, which has no analogues, is part of the Moscow mayor grant in the Moscow Youth nomination. Its partners are the International Employer Club, the Russian Association of Career Centers, the Career Center of the Russian Foreign Ministry’s MGIMO University, the Alumni Department of the People’s Friendship University of Russia, and the Association of Foreign Students in Russia.
A hundred foreign students of 23 higher educational establishments from 50 countries were chosen for the project in a competition in March 2024. The students took part in the educational program on entrepreneurial basics. The best 30 students continued to prepare their own projects during acceleration sessions with the guidance of experienced mentors.
Nineteen business projects in the field of international youth business will be defended. They will be assessed in the real-time mode by experienced experts - representatives of the business community, potential investors, and project partners.
Project winners, laureates, speakers and mentors of the educational module will be awarded at the ceremony.
The event venue is the MCCI Grand Conference Hall at 2nd floor, Bld. 1, 15, Petrovka Street.
