The students studied the labor market and outlined individual career paths.

On March 31, the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry hosted the ninth and final lesson of the educational module of the project "School of International Entrepreneurship for students of Moscow universities "Start your business with Moscow".

The topic of the lesson was the specifics of career growth. The speaker, HR Director and founder of the University of Career Development, Tatiana Minaeva, shared her knowledge of the modern labor market, outlined the main trends, and highlighted the difficult moments and challenges faced by young professionals. During the lesson, she gave valuable advice on how to behave effectively in a competitive labor market. One of the key aspects of the discussion was the career track: in an interactive format, the speaker discussed career options with students and gave examples of various scenarios.

Another important topic of the lesson was the preparation of a resume. The expert shared "life hacks" that will help candidates present their experiences, skills and achievements so that employers understand why they need to be hired. "It's important to have a healthy self-esteem and a clear understanding of your strengths. It is necessary to boldly present your qualities in your resume and compose an effective cover letter," she stressed.

Tatiana Minaeva also talked about how to properly present herself at an interview and answer various questions from employers, from traditional to tricky ones. "Employers are testing candidates, and this is not just a formality. This is a serious exam, during which almost any question can be asked about your motivation, the reasons for leaving previous jobs, or your sympathies for the organization. Understanding the rules of this game is of paramount importance, because the same story can lead to rejection or to an offer of a salary increase," the speaker noted.

The lesson was held in an interactive mode, the students actively shared their opinions, learning the necessary skills in a playful way and discussing their ideas, plans and dreams with the teacher.

This lesson was the last in the educational module, and on April 1, all participants of the course will receive certificates from the School. The most active and motivated students have the opportunity to apply for the second acceleration module of the project, where, under the guidance of experienced mentors, they will be able to finalize their business ideas and present them to a qualified jury. Following the results of the second module, the winners will be determined, and the finalists will have the opportunity to complete internships at Moscow enterprises and at the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The project "School of International Entrepreneurship for students of Moscow Universities "Start your Business with Moscow" is being implemented by the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry in cooperation with the Committee for Public Relations and Youth Policy of the City of Moscow as part of a Grant from the Mayor of Moscow.
